Short Throw & Ultra Short Throw Projectors

Short Throw and Ultra short throw projectors are now redefining how projectors are being used in both education and corporate environments.

Short throw projectors don't look like your traditional multimedia projectors, the lens has been redesigned to produce big screen presentations from a very short distance. The short projection distance dramatically reduces shadow casting on the screen created by the user and also a reduction in image glare for the presenter.

The projector Lamp Brightness (Lumen) due to less natural light passing between the projector lens and  the projected image on the screen less power consumption will be required and the image will be brighter than a standard projector of the same lumen.

Most short throw projector are capable of projecting a 60" image on a the screen from a distance of approximately 42cm, The new Epson EB460 Ultra Short Throw Projector for example will project a very bright and crisp image of 78" diagonal at a distance of only 12cm creating a truly versatile solution for the likes of interactive whiteboards and school hall projection screens up to 102" diagonal.
