How to Find Your Smart Board Model and Serial Number Location
whenever you connect a Smart Board 600 series interactive board by USB to a fully functioning computer the board will initially go through a set up procedure: each of the pen tray lights will illuminate in sequence blue, green, eraser, red, black and then stop. The status light on the right hand side of the board should also turn from red to a constant Green.
If the interactive status light is green, open Note Book and if the board appears to interacting as normal using your finger but the pen tray lights continue to sequence, try a replacement SC9 controller cable, this can easily be tested by removing from a known working board and is very easy to change by removing the pen tray.

If the voltage to your interactive whiteboard is in the recommended range, the board status light is green and the SC9 cable has been confirmed as working but the issue persists, Try a different pen tray if that does not work you will more than likely require a replacement SC9 controller, again this can be tested by removing from a known working board and is very easy to change.
